How to draw graph or bar chart with given data?

Dear sir advance thanks to you..i want to draw a chart with given example data as below.

Example:

Length (In Km) type of soil layer
From to

100 100.8 sand layer

102.5 103.7 gravel layer

106.2 107.5 dust layer

100 100.8 gravel layer

as per above data how to plot graphical or line or column chart with different colors and different layer wise ??? please suggest.
