How to do conditional formatting

Hi Excel Gurus,

Is it possible that I can colour a cell with reference to other cell.

Like for eg :
Column A Contains : VC Code
Column O Contains : SLAB 2014 - 2015

Can I give a background colour in VC Code with reference to the Column O
like if sales is Greater Than 1 Lac and the status is degrowth the VC Code will become RED in background. I had tried the same but I am unable to do so.

Sample file attached for reference.

Thanks
Raj

Hi Raj ,

What is the problem ? The following CF formula should work :

=AND($O2 = "Greater Than 1 Lac", $M2 = "De Growth")

The simple fact is there is no entry with the conditions you have specified.
