How to create a mouseover pop up box

Hi everyone,
How do I create a custom mouseover pop up box? I want to create my own custom pop up box that is similar to an excel comment box. I don't want to use the comment box because I don't want the red triangle to show in the corner and I would like to customize the way the box looks such as background color. I am using excel 2011 on mac. Thank you for any advice.

I believe that VBA has slight differences between a PC and a MAC and you will need to do what you want with VBA

Thank you for the response. I have not tried a mac site. Do you know of any that would be helpful?
