How to Calculate Age From their DOB

Hi,

I am working as teacher in High School. I have problem while calculating Age of students especially for ssc students.

I am working on Excel Sheet above data. Please help me in this regarding. I am very happy getting the formula in u r web site. But I have little bit confuse using Formula.

So please give me Example

YM and MD are just telling DATEDIF which interval to use, the doubles usually mean an interval of one type excluding the other, YM is Months excluding Years, MD is Days excluding Months,


DATEDIF is in Excel 2000 help, I still keep a copy of old Excel versions.

Beware DATEDIF is bugged !!!


When

- the most Recent date is on leap year

AND

- RecentDate month is january

AND

- RecentDate day is lower than day of Birthdate


=DATEDIF(BirthDate,RecentDate,"y")&" years "&DATEDIF(BirthDate,RecentDate,"ym")&" months "&DATEDIF(BirthDate,RecentDate,"md")&" days"
