How to avoid MS Outlook security alert message while sending email through vba

Hi, kaushik03!

If you haven't done yet perhaps you'd want to read the three green sticky posts at this forums main page so as to know the guidelines that will lead to know how this community operates (introducing yourself, posting files, netiquette rules, and so on).

Specially the 3rd one about posting rules and etiquette, which states in 12th/13th paragraphs:

'Never title your posts as "Urgent", "Priority" "Immediate". It may be Important to you, but not for rest of the members here. These words will be moderated out.

Consider that the world is operating 24hrs a day. A late post today may well be answered by someone else overnight.'

You'd say that you haven't titled it as urgent, but I think that your post description is assimilable. The important is not only the strict words but the spirit. And the spirit definitively talks about urgency.

Regards!

SirJB7,

Firstly, I am a big fan of Chandoo.org and respect this forum from the bottom of my heart.

Secondly, I am sorry if I hurt the "etiquette/rules" of this forum by any chance.

I understand everybody are very busy around this world and have their own bit of work to do.

As I was about to finish the job yesterday itself and was really in a hurry, I tagged my post with the word "Urgent" in the description (and query in the subject line) with no intention to show the lack of my spirit and imposing some strict words to force others to consider this as the most important task of their day.

Thank you for guiding me about the "rules" of this forum which, going forward, I will definitely follow.

I am here to learn and share the knowledge which I believe everybody is doing.

Towards the courtesy and respect, I would appreciate if you use a more acceptable language to share your enthusiasm/right spirit while guiding others about the rules of this forum.

Hi, kaushik03!

Don't worry about having broken the rules, maybe you didn't know it, the important thing is that you do know them now and I'm sure you won't do it again as you posted. I understand that sometimes we're really in a hurry and we may become anxious, but the community deserves that its members follow the rules. Everyone included. And I didn't set up the rules, I just follow them.

And about my language, English is not my native language, it's Spanish, so if I sound a little rude I apologize and it wasn't my intention. I'd appreciate if you suggest me the modifications to my previous expressions that you'd consider appropriated towards maintaining courtesy and respect.

Regards!

Hi SirJB7,

Let's not discuss about this anymore.

I truely believe that you have very good command in English language.

I consider you as a good friend of mine of this forum, who can help and guide us to learn better excel.

For your reference, English is also not my native language, it's Bengali. I might have misunderstood you. I apologise for that sir...

I wish your continuous good work in this forum.

Regards,

Kaushik
