How to Add a Video in an Excel Sheet

Hi Excel Experts,

I have couple of videos saved on my laptop and i want these videos to played from my Excel Workbook. I tried to make changes from the developer tab in Excel 2013, but it did not helped at all.

Dear Rahul

Do you want to play a particular video from a excel file... like file name and it is hyperlinked with video file. So that you can play it from that excel file

Is my understand is right?
or you want to play the video in a frame like in powerpoint presentation.

Hi bob,

I followed the second link exactly as it was explained, but the when the video was inserted into the excel sheet , i had to right click on it and then play the video separately which opens ppt file in which i saved the video.

IS there any way that when the video is embedded into an excel sheet gets played from there only.

Please Help.
