how to acess an embedded file in a protect excel

i have a password protected excel sheet with a word document embed in it. but i an unable to access the embedded document in protected view. Please advise how the embedded file can be accessed in protected mode.

You'll need to unprotect the sheet, and then when you protect it, check this option:
