Hi,

How excel identifies ColorIndex. i.e if I pass number 16 to ColorIndex what color it displays and how it manipulates that number.

Hi Raju ,

I tried with the following statement :

Activechart.SeriesCollection(1).Format.Fill.ForeColor.ObjectThemeColor = 5

and I got the default sky-blue colour.

You can use numbers from 1 through 12 , 1 standing for black , 2 for white and so on.

This post is a little dated. I need color index codes for 2013 as there are new/updated colors. I am using a color pretty close to 37 in the older charts, but I can't seem to find a 2013 chart anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get this info?
