How Default worksheet or workbook setup?

  1. Open an Excel file.
  2. In Tools menu, click on OPTIONS.
  3. Go to GENERAL tab.
  4. Here you will find "Default file location". Change the location path where you saved your template file.

Are you not able to open the file in saved template with CTR+N in excel after following above steps?
Did you closed the file and tried to open a new file from Start command?
