Highlight specific length and width measurements (Visual aid for template user)

I'm looking to highlight an excel template to fit specific length and width measurements to act as a visual aid for those using template. I need specific measurements (6 5/8 wide and 8 1/4 length) visually highlighted to ensure they can copy/paste into outlook email so it always prints on one page for the recipient.


The user needs to be able to change the width of cells in order to fit their information, so I would ultimately like this to act as a visual cue, almost as a background picture, highlighting the parameters they can enter data.

This is possible by incorporating an image into the worksheet , making it transparent so that the underlying cells are visible. Can you give a few more details ?


How do you want this shape to appear on the worksheet ? What is the starting cell ?
