Hiding Zero Value Columns in a Graph

Hi all,

First time question, long time reader.

I am attempting to build my first Dashboard using various tricks and styles I have found on this site for my job in a college.

However - one graph I am attempting to build is proving challenging and I cant find a solution.

Basicially, I have two pivot tables reading from the same source data. The source shows a list of students with all their courses going down the page, and next to each course their average grade score.

Then, along the top I have a column for every course we do, with the student grade average repeated.

I then have a graph which firstly (based on Slicer choices) shows the grade average for a selected course, then next to it (using your clever scroll bar) a bar graph for each course the students within the selected course take, with their overall average. This allows teachers to look at a course they teach, and then compare their grade average with the other courses those students within their course also take.

However - as most students do no more than 8 courses, and we teach over 80 courses, the graph goes on for miles! So, when my pivot table (or my graph) displays all the course averages, I want it to auto hide any course that has a Zero grade average. As this Zero is a value, I can not set the pivot table to filter on them, and as they are all column headings, I can not filter on the course headings either.

Does anyone know a way to hide any column with a zero or blank value in a bar graph?

Sorry for the lengthy description!

p.s. Love this site, thank you for all the inspiration you have given me so far!!!
