Hi,

I am trying to hide my formula and as per me, I need to go to format cells and tick on protection and then tick on hidden box. then I will go to Review bar and protect sheet.

But my Protect sheet option in gray out..i am not able to click on that.

Please suggest any alternative way.

Thanks

File is Shared.
UnShare file and after that You can do many things.
... Do not forget to Share again!

1) Tools->Protection->UnProtect Shared Workbook...
2) Tools->Share Workbook...->
from Editing Tab take [ ]Allow changes ... away ->
(( if there are users then You gotta 'Remove All Users' ))
[OK]->[Yes]

The only options I can see are Home,Insert,Page layout,Formulas,Data,Review,View and Developer...Please suggest

I really cannot know which version do You use ...
maybe those can 'look different'?

I have those (photo below) 'texts' in top of my Excel-window. How about You?

There is 'Share Workbook'!
Did You tried to 'use' ... 'look' something like those?
>> If not ... take a snapshot and send here, please.
