Help with performance calibration grid

Hi - I am trying to set up a performance calibration grid in excel (with limited skills). What I have done serves the purpose but because I used the rnd() function, every time I change a rating, the data points move. I am sure there is a better way to do what I am trying to do. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Your original was 'I am trying to set up...' ... that's different than 'need'.
There are basic three differences:
a) mine uses numbers instead of selecting words
b) Your horizontal axis has two more possibilities
c) mine shows 'overall rating' and Yours 'position' (which means challenges, if same 'position')
It's possible to add those two more possibilities to horizontal axes - but it won't be one minute task.
Need to know 'what needs?' or still tries to do something?

I am sorry if I was unclear but I am trying to set up the grid the way it looks like in the attachment. I had a look at your set up and it looks and works better than mine. However, the performance rating at my workplace is made up of outcomes rating (5 possible rating) and behaviours rating (3 possible rating). Is there anyway to stop the rnd() function from changing the position every time I change a cell value?

'My' c) should be a challenge ... if many names has same ratings!

how fair is it - if two or more names has same ratings - BUT those are not equal value?

Rnd() can stop ... eg like in this Your file - set calculation to 'manual'-position.

I did it that way so I could fit multiple names in the same box as it is likely that many people will have the same combination of ratings. My excel skills are pretty basic and I know very little about macros so couldn't make it any more sophisticated. If you could help me with adding two more boxes, I could change to overall rating e.g. meets expectations/consistent. Thank you

I meant 2 extra to the outcomes rating axis so yes 6 more boxes.

The box names would be:

Unsatisfactory/Unsatisfactory

Inconsistently Meets/Consistent
Inconsistently Meets/Role Models
Meets Expectations/Unsatisfactory

So sorry - I thought you meant the names of the grids. I would have up to 40 names.

There are three yaxes and five xaxes values which give positions for name.
