Help with Excel Tracking Sheet for Visa Applications – Lookup & Duplicate Alerts

Hi everyone,


I’m working on an Excel sheet to manage visa application records, especially for Vietnam eVisa submissions. It includes columns like Applicant Name, Application ID, Submission Date, Status, and Approval Date. I’m facing a few challenges:

1. How to pull the latest status from an update sheet using VLOOKUP or INDEX-MATCH?
2. How to highlight delays of over 3 days between submission and approval?
3. How to detect duplicates based on Name and Passport Number?

I found this guide useful while structuring the initial layout, but I’d appreciate tips on improving the sheet’s automation and accuracy.
Also considering a simple dashboard with total submitted, approved, and pending counts. Any help or sample formulas would be great.
