Help with date formula please

Good morning Excel experts, your assistance with a date formula for the following scenario would be sincerely appreciated.

1) Customer inputs deadline date into Excel date field
2) Next line: calculate due date 5 business days prior to deadline date
3) Next line: calculate due date 3 business days prior to deadline date

Please see attached file example.

Tried the following formula, but is not working. :-( =Networkdays(TODAY(),A2)-5 (A2 being the customer input deadline date cell)
