Help- Frozen worksheet

Laura Harris

New Member
Totally lost, some how, some way. I've frozen my worksheet. I'm not able to open it fully. It's missing the window icon on the sheet allowing me to minimize or expand it. I'm not even able to drap the bottom corners and expand it that way. Any suggestions?

Hi Laura!

Ideas:

1. XL is in full screen mode. Press Esc to restore.

2. Check View - Freeze Panes - Unfreeze window?

If not one of these, could you clarify further. You say you are not able to minimize or expand it, so what is it currently? Is it minimized? Or is it maximized?

it is currently minimized (half screen as if I was viewing 2 worksheet horizontally), in the ribbon the "freeze pane" icon is greyed out.

Esc didn't work . I'm running Excel 2010, the worksheet is a macro enable worksheet.

OMG I'M SUCH A JERK. I'VE FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS SINCE LATE YESTERDAY. AND JSUT REMEMBER I PROTECTED THE WORKBOOK FROM ANYONE MAKING CHANGES.

THANKS FOR HELP,

Good day

I am running Excel 2010 and this has happend to me on a few occasions nothing responds, The best way of getting out of it that I have found is to press ctr+s which does work and saves your workbook and the closing the programe via tasks manager and then opening up the workbook again
