Get unique values from a range

Hi Team,

I need help in finding out the unique text values from a table..excluding some of the texts..see the attached for details..

I had solved a similar kind of query a while ago in the forum here...http://chandoo.org/forum/threads/two-lists-extract-different-records.20590/#post-123974

Now, I am looking for a formula solution, I can use the one given in the attached link..however, because the number of columns in my data is 5..so I dont want to use a giant..

I thought of using vba to loop through the ranges and then get the uniques...but knowing that it is for a dashboard..loops generally take time..so decided not to use it

Any solution especially formula driven approach will be much appreciated..

Hi Asheesh ,

You say that VBA is going to be time intensive because of loops ; my opinion is that if the dataset is small , neither formulae nor VBA will be time intensive. If the dataset is large , a formula solution is bound to be even more time intensive than a VBA approach.

Have you tried Dictionary object before? Might be worth trying if you decide to use VBA.
