Geographic heat maps for India in Excel

Hello Everyone,


Do you create geographic heat maps for India in Excel or do you use other applications for that? I tried the Bing Maps application for Excel and couldn't get it to provide a heat map.


I created one (http://indzara.blogspot.com/2013/04/geoheatmapindia.html) myself in Excel with manually creating the outline of India map and some conditional formatting. I am curious to know how others have solved this need.


I find this site very helpful. Thanks to Chandoo and all the contributors.
