Gantt Excel Conditional Formatting

Hi Excel Community

Could someone assist me in modifying the formula in the Excel conditional formatting so it draws the correct Gant chart.

I have Friday's week ending on the top for say April 2018 but in the example I have attached it is not picking he correct dates.

Seems to work if I have every day in April but not for Fridays week ending.

Thanks

In the test for end date, use the Monday for comparison purposes
= AND((F$4>=$C5), (F$4-4)<=$D5) [i.e. Friday - 4]

The formula could be placed within the conditionally formatted range if you wanted to. Then all your conditional formatting tests would reduce to the same thing, that is testing for cells that contain TRUE. You would need to include font colour as part of the conditional format so that the Booleans are not visible.
