Freeze date format

Hi, Can I somehow freeze the format of date entered by the user let's say to "DD/MM/YYYY" in the attached file (Sheet: Input - Deposits & Repayments, B12); in a way such that in case somebody enters the date in some other format, it throws an error about the wrong format. Pl help. Thanks.

You can do it the other way round : change the format automatically to the desired format even if a wrong format is entered
