The new =FORMULATEXT() in 2013 is going to save a lot of time, instead of copy/paste to display a formula as text with a single hyphen just enter the function and you get the formula as text and by wrapping it in ISFORMULA you can select a whole column and it will say whether there are or are not formulas in a column/row.
=IF(ISFORMULA(D1),FORMULATEXT(D1),"NO FORMULA")
Because it is a formula referencing a formula if the origanal changes so does the FORMULATEXT cell.
