Hi everyone,


I was wondering if there is an easy way to put a round formula on multiple cells without having to manually enter it or use VBA? On the basis someone has already put formulas in cells and they need to be rounded to the nearest 1,000, how would you do this easily?


Are there any formulas that link to data on the internet to dynamically update also?

VBA would be the easiest way I think. I know you said no VBA

Hello Ian,

Based on an old post by Hui on this forum, you could try the following as a custom number format for the cells:

[<1000]"1000";###,###,###,"000"


To change the number format, select the cells (or an entire column, etc.), and select Format Cells | Custom


In this case, anything less than 1000 gets displayed as 1000.
