Formula to show spaces in the column

Hi All,

Hope you are doing well

Need one simple formula to find spaces in the perticular column.
for e.g if cell A1 contains "ABCD def" than in b1 formula should give me 1
but if it contains no space in the text formula should give me 0

can someone help me...

Sure thing. Here's how to find # of instances for a character
=LEN(A1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1," ",""))
