formula for formating the cell as per different cell

Can anyone give me a formula for formatting a cell similar to a different cell

Eg. A1 is fill yellow color (cell color is yellow) I need the formula for B1 to be same as A1 (i.e B1 should have fill yellow)

Hi,

Excel formula don't have feature of filling cell with interior color, font color, applying borders. You can set the number format through TEXT function only.

May be if you can explain your exact requirement, some alternative can be worked out.

Or VBA can be a solution....on change event...i guess

Hi,

As SM Sir explained, not possible with formula.

There must be a way in VBA, but I think format painter would be much better option, just click and go.
