Formula for Calculating the 4 hrs on monthly basis.

Hello ,

I have an excel sheet in which i have created a tracker where i need to calculate the 4hrs on monthly basis. (Eg:in Jan its 4 hrs ,Feb-8hrs like it should automatically addup 4hrs for every month in D2 Cell). If any formula is there can someone helpme with the formula.

What will D2 contain ? Will it contain numbers from 1 through 12 , or will it contain the month names such as Jan , Feb , Mar ?

D2 contains the numbers.

I am wondering where the catch is !

If D2 contains the numbers from 1 through 12 , say for example 5 , then the total number of hours would be 5 multiplied by 4 , i.e. 20. Do you want 20 should be displayed in some cell ? If yes , then that cell should have the formula =D2*4

If not , please explain your requirement in more detail.
