Hi,
We are creating a chart to show timelines for active projects. Each project has:
- one line that shows the overall project timeline with different colors highlighting the phases
- additional lines if there are rollouts at different locations that show the date of the rollouts.
We used the multi-level category option to keep the data for each project together on the chart, however encountered the limitation of not being able to format the high level category name. Projects that have many lines on the chart are not as much of an issue because then there is more room for the main category name. Projects with 1-2 lines result in the name being wrapped quite a bit and become hard to read.
Has anyone created a visualization like this using a different approach, or have an idea of how we can make the project names more readable?
I attached a sample...picture this with about 20 or more projects
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated!
