format cell

Hi professors;

how can i use a custom format cell that when i have a data in my cell that it is a text and a percent , it shows with the format of percent not a text cell .

for example there is a data like ( hooman 21.45%) in cell A1 when i click the Enter Key on my Keyboard it converts to ( hooman 0.21455954695).

how i can see the best view of this cell ?

Since the data is changing, I'm going to have to assume that the cell is actually being populated via a formula. you probably need to do something like:

="hooman "&TEXT(B2,"0.00%")

I tried by entering the text hooman in a cell , say D1 ; in cell A1 , I entered :


=D1&" "&21.45%


Excel automatically converts the 21.45 % to 0.2145


But if I enter :


=D1&" "&21.45&"%"


the display is :



hooman 21.45%
