Hello everyone.

Pease excuse me for no sample attatched as am on Mobil still.
Question regarding formatting cell value if it is negitve...but challenge is need partial cell value in color.
Example:

Col A. ColB. ColC
100 50 -6%. $50m/-6%.
200. 10-20%. $19m/10%

Above number are hypothetical numbers.

Like wise I have 10k rows my outpit is with concatenation formula to get the Most prefix format ...need -6% in red color if found has negitve only...

Hopefully I tried to put my question with an example..Please let me know any additional information required.

Hi ,

Upload your workbook when ever you can.

Manually show at least one result of how you would like a cell's contents to be colored partially.

Hello Narayana..
$50m/-6%. This is out put in C. Column with formula.
Need color only -6% in red Color being in negitve...else no color.

Sorry again no upload...it's been long time my desktop is shut.

Sorry it doesn't work.,as Narayana said worksheet with VBA..as this is formula driven cell.,

You cannot partially format a formula cell, even with VBA. You would need to use code to populate the cells instead of using a formula.

Thanks everyone for trying solution...It's possible to format formula driven cell...will share the code very soon.
