i have the below heading in the multiple workbook.


i want to open the each workbook and first search emp code if yes they copy the below data again go to the same workbook sheets which contains data and search emp name.


I want the macro code if i search Emp code the data is not there it will go to next data and search Emp Name.

Please clarify these points:

a) How many workbooks do you have?

b) Where are they located (folder)?

c) Do they have any pattern naming convention?

d) Where do you obtain the EmpCode for performing the search?

e) How is the "below data" structured?

f) Where do you want to copy it to?

g) How do you identify that "the data is not there"?

h) What is "next data" referring to?


Well, I thought I had a couple of questions when I began to write this post but it seems as if either I didn't understand anything or you haven't been clear enough.
