I'd like to know if there's a formula that finds the different values and that counts the number of times each value appears in a given range of data. Thanks a lot!

Luke M Excel Ninja Staff member Aug 31, 2012 #2 Array formula. Current formula is to count the number of 3's =SUM(LEN(A2:A10)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A2:A10,3,""))) Remeber to confirm using Ctrl+Shift+Enter, not just Enter.
