Hi,

Hoping someone can help me out. I am trying to create a quick report that pulls information into a Monthly, Quarterly and YTD view for analysis.

I have the bones but i just cannot remember the formula that will pull what i need into the appropriate cells.

In the attached i am looking to populate the cells columns from R -> Y with the correct amounts split by the company percentage ownership.

Any help would be really appreciate.

Thanks,
John

In the attached, results table at cell Q5.
Change the company table at cell B1 by say adding companies, changing company names, changing percentages then:
right-click somewhere in the results table and choose Refresh to see the table update itself.
The month/quarter/year to date are the current month/quarter/year according to the system date, so refreshing in another period will also change the results.

Sorry the categories aren't in the same order but that can be tweaked.

Hi,

That is very cool thank you so much. I would be keen to know how to set something up like that. IS there any way I can toggle between different months / quarters?

Thanks,
John

See attached.
Click on cell F2 and choose a Month/Year, refresh the results table.
If you choose a month/year in the future and there is no data for the month-to-date or for that quarter those columns will not show in the results table. If you want to see those columns with 0 values you need to enter zeroes (instead of blank cells) in the source table.

This is a Power Query solution.
