Hello Excel Guru's,

I've got a huge Excel template with lots of tables. The master table, which collects all data and does calculations gives me an hugely anoying error. The situation is as follows, using excel 2007:

Filter table. Then try to delete multiple rows that are shown(i.e. row 65, 87 and 90) usually works perfectly fine. But now it doesn't. I have to delete them one by one.... When i filter and try to delete it gives me back the error:

"This operation is not allowed. the operation is attempting to shift cells in a table on your worksheet"

Unfortunately i cannot share the excel document. I've tried to recreate the error with a new workbook, but there it works just fine.

when i transform the table to a range and then use filters, it works fine. Convert it back to a table? And again, the error shows.

I hope someone can help me because i'm on the verge of lying down, crawling up and start crying. A lot.

Sounds like, for one reason or another, XL thinks the last row/column has stuff in in. If you table is in A1:G100, I'd select columns H:(end), right-click, delete. Do the same for all rows beyond row 100 (in this example). Save the workbook to force XL to reset the used range.
Now, try to delete the row again.
