Filling in blank cells but from cell below

If I have a column with values which have blank cells then a value, then more blank cells and another value, etc. I can press F5 and go to the blank cells.

At this point, I am used to copying the value from the cell above. However, this time I am trying to find a way to copy from the cell below.

Is this possible?

Hi ,

Yes !

Once you have used CTRL G or the F5 key to bring up the Go To dialog , and selected blanks , the entire section of blanks in the selected area is highlighted , and the cursor is placed at the top-most blank cell.

Pressing the CTRL ALT keys , press the right arrow key till the cursor is placed at the bottom-most blank.

Now type in = and use the down arrow to type in the formula , and then press CTRL ENTER.

I am holding down CTRL and ALT together, then I press the right arrow key. This changes the orientation of my screen upside down or by 90 degrees.

Maybe I misunderstood what you are saying?

Hi ,

It does not do that on my computer ; however , what also works is to keep the CTRL and ALT keys pressed , and click the bottom-most blank cell with the mouse. This now places the cursor in that blank cell.

That did work.

I'm on Windows 10, so maybe that is why the arrow changed my screen orientation. Anyway, thank you for your reply.
