Fill cells with a click on checkbox

Hi All,

Could you please help me with below query, I have attached the sheet:

On the right hand side of sheet is a little table that shows Weld Layers title with checkbox, I need formulas or VBA code so that when Root check box is clicked, description "Root" appears in cell A10, when Hot check bock is clicked, description "Hot" appears in cell A11.

When Fill check box is clicked and number of passes are mentioned (for e.g. 5 in attached sheet), cell A12 to A16 pupulates as per attached sheet, similarly for Cap check box.

I will appreciate some help as this is way outside my excel abilities.

Hi Bosco,

Thanks a lot, I wish I could write formulas like you. Works great just one thing is it possible to delimit number of passes for "Fill" and "Cap", currently they are locked as 5 and 3 respectively.

If you could work this out, it would be great help.

Hi,

Please check cells AB10 and AB11, they have set with "Data Validation".
