I am extremely sorry for the post, i will keep it in my mind about your instructions. In further i will not post/share any files which causes the illegal.

I am a excel enthusiastic to learn new things, this leads to me to post this. Becoz i want to know, how the file controls the identity and protects the data from others.


If i can know, then i can apply same thing in my work, becoz there are so many files which need this technique.

I'm not going to explain it again for n-th time:

a) once you get access to open an Excel file there's no security at all against skilled users

b) before getting access to open an Excel file because of password protection there're a lot of commercial softwares to discover or break it, then back to a)


You could search in this website for articles or topics about it.


If you have a lot of files at your work that "need this technique", it'd be better if I don't know where do you work and who's the CEO or owner, as I don't think IT guys would be very happy with my comments about information security.
