fast Vlookup Solution- double lookup

Hi

I am dealing in lakhs of rows on daily basis and has to compare sheets with huge data. The Vlookup when applied to such data obviously moves at snails pace. I have come across the double lookup methodology. I want to request you to please tell whether is it safe to use Vlookup with such approximation match to get accurate results. What are the precautions to be taken while applying double Vlookup to get fast results. Or there is any other way out to get faster results as compared to normal vlooVlo

Hi, the key is to sort your data on the lookup table on the search key.
I once made such a lookup on +750K rows in both data table as lookuptable. The double lookup calculated in a blink of an eye.
