Hi, I'm new to the Chandoo forums, so please be gentle....
I have a problem that may turn out to have a simple answer, I just don't know enough to recognize it. We have a report that lays out data fields for a single document all over the page. The client's name may be in A1, their phone number in C1, but their contact name is in B4. There's extra spacing, along with hidden rows, columns and randomly merged fields.
When it was created as a visual report, it looks really good, but as a spreadsheet to manipulate, etc. it's impossible, at least for me.
Does anyone have any magic tips, tricks or processes so I can pull data for several thousand entries from this tricked out report to a straight Excel spreadsheet, with all of data for each entry in the same row?
