Facing problem while sending a mail using Workbook Open Event

ThrottleWorks

Excel Ninja
Hi,

I am using "Workbook Event" in excel VBA to send a mail.

As soon as the user opens a file, the file is sent to a mail id.

The problem is the user will get a warning before sending the mail.

If he decides not to, the mail will not be sent. I want to send the mail whenever the file gets opened.

If the user press the cancell button the entire purpose is lost.

I do not want this warning to apear.

I have also attached a picture for the reference.

Can anyone please help me in this.

P.S. - Please delete this post if it is violating any rules.

sachinbizboy, this is an inbuilt fail-safe mechanism in Outlook

To disable this, you could go to Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings... > Programmatic Access >> Never warn me about suspicious activity (not recommended) and enable it

If a group policy or anti-virus disables this, then it would be best advised not to fiddle with that.

Hi Sam, thanks a lot for the help, yes you are right, I am not sure if I will be allowed to do this before taking prior approvals.

First I will check it at my home PC and see how it works.

Have a nice day ahead. :)

P.S. - are you from God's own country ? :)
