Extract Time and Date from UTC format

Hi,

I expect the answer to this is simple. I have date and time data in UTC format, it looks like this: 2014-10-19T08:00:01.

I need to extract the date and time into two separate columns. I've attached a sample of the file so you can see the format is needs to be in. Ideally, I would also like to convert the date so that it is dd/mm/yyyy rather than the reverse format it is currently in.

Appreciate anyone's help on this.

You can use text to columns option and split it using T as the splitter..

As layout is fixed so simply left/right function.

b2=DATEVALUE(LEFT(A2,10))
c2=TIMEVALUE(RIGHT(A2,8))

& format the columns as per req format!!

or

b2=TEXT(LEFT(A2,10),"dd/mm/yyyy")

but this will be text not a integer as date is!!!
