Excel Workbook with multiple user.

Dear Sir,

I have excel sheet which is using by our 5 employee so there is problem is that if one employee is updating that excel sheet other 4 employees has to wait till he complete his work because it opens as “read only”.

I wanted to make my excel sheet every user can work together and can update all 5 employees together.
 
Hi Shaboo,

Follow these steps to share the Excel file for multiple users:

  • Open Excel file that you want to share.
  • Go to Review section and click on the Share Workbook option.
  • Now, in the editing tab, select the check box "Allow changes by more than one user at the same time. This will allow workbook merging.
  • Click on OK.
