Excel Services usage ?

Hello,

in my company I need to deploy excel (2010) dashboards on a sharepoint server. Currently it is done manually by another person. Since I will replace this person soon, I try to find some ways to ease these deployment tasks. I have read that Excel Services should help on that, but not really aware on it.
Before go deeper on it, some feedback should be appreciated.

Thank you for the link. I have already seen it in my researches, but , not yet fully read...

Indeed, I hope some users would tell me their experience feedback, in order to see the advantages or drawbacks they figured out ;)
