Excel ribbon disappears

Morning all,

I opened a spreadsheet this morning that I use every day, and after deleting some tabs, the ribbon went away - absolutely no icons except max., min., and close. I've tried minimizing, then maximizing, hitting ESC, or CTRL + F1. Nothing works. I've seen some references to the possibility that possibly "worksheets have become detached from the workbook", but no resolution. Can anyone help get the ribbon back? THANK YOU!! I'm running Excel 2010 on a WIN7 device.

Hi,

Try this:
File >> Options >>
Excel Options Pop up appears.

click Customize Ribbon >>

select all the tabs that you need

or

simply select reset ribbon

There was no File>Options available. I just had to close excel completely and reopen. Very odd!

You can collapse and expand the ribbon with ^ button next to Minimise and maximise sheet buttons. It is available in upper Right corner.

See enclosed.

Thanks
