Excel Linking on Network Drives Not Updating

Hello,


I work in a department which does financial reporting & a lot of our calculation templates rely on excel linking & what we are experiencing is that everyone has mapped their drives different to network locations which is causing links to not update & bad data is getting into our calculations. Has the community encountered this before & is there a good fix?
 
Not really an Excel problem.

It will certainly help if you ask your IT department to have some common network drives to which users should save their documents and spreadsheets. So the users will get those drives mapped when they log in the domain. Until that happens you will end up chasing rabbits.
