Excel Gantt / Bar Chart

Hello....

I am creating a multi-faceted project management file for my job. It has a master timing and action tab and I'm trying to get it to create a gantt chart.

My question is....is there a way to have different items go into a horizontal bar chart. There are different moments that I'm wanting to appear on the same line. Essentially, different milestones and time spans for the same project. Attached are a few visuals. One is the 3 separate phases I'm trying to capture and kind of what I'm wating it to look like visually (wth dates being on the top and the projects on the left). Is this even feasible in Excel? I am far from an expert in Excel - so any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your time. This is great - here's my question. It would be in Sun-Sat weekly buckets and I figured out how easy it is to change that.

I should have stated this better from the beginning - I'm sorry. It will be multiples dates as it goes from week to week and project to project. My format is vertical and dates go across horizontally. Do I need to modify my document to include this new information? If so, is it something I could do underneath the data that is already there somehow? Thanks again - I really appreciate any help or guidance with this!!

Hi,

Instead of pictures can you upload a sample file with some dummy data which reflects your data structure and tell in there what you want?

Regards,

Sorry. Attached is the file with dummy. Data. Along the left I will have it show the data as in what's in AF63, 64 and so on an the top will list the dates in weeks (sunday starting). I hope this helps convey what I've already started.

I want this to list one week's woth of stuff in a format like you had then the next week (row) of infomation to be visible below it and so on.

Thank you again for your help!

Also....to not make this a HUGE visual - how would you recommend showing the data since some milestones happen on different days of the week? If it's after the start date of that Sunday - does it just show up in that week's colored data?
