Dear all,

I am facing a magical excel formatting error and could not fix it.

the case is,

i have a file with more than 10 excel sheets, after some formatting on those sheets, i had closed the file clicking on save button.

on reopening the file, the file will show u that there was no formatting applied on those sheets. even all formatting will also be removed. how it could be??

Please help me to fix it.

Hi, Mudassar.freedi!

Your uploaded file doesn't allow to reproduce the issue, it only reflects its effects.

Would you please upload the original file?

But before that, would you check if there wasn't anything like opening a .xlsx (2007+), saving to a .xls (2003-) and getting a compatibility warning message?

Or haven't you got any error message at open time regarding a damaged file that was recovered with certain deletions?

Regards!
