Excel feature to convert table (in picture format) to Excel

I have a picture of some tabular data. I want to convert the data in that picture so that it can be dropped into Excel. Does Excel have a feature that can do this?

Not directly. However, there are some PDF apps that are able to scan an image and create an Excel table using OCR (although they are a bit hit and miss, and it depends very much on the clarity of the image).

Just sharing some information.
In the insider version (365) Power Query can read PDF tabular data. Not sure when this will be released to "normal" users.
I'm assuming the table inside the PDF then must be a genuine table and not a picture...

There might be some add-ons that do the job. Did you google?
