Excel Backup File

Dear Sir,

I wanted to create a backup for my excel files as mentioned below.

I have one Entry File, once I entered my entries into that file it should save and create a back up file for the same, and after that even someone made any changes into it, my back up file should not be affected and my data should be safe.

Can you please advice for the same

1) Upload that 'my made file' to wanted place
2) Open it
3) Do You duties ...
4) Close it - then it will ask only the 1st time to do folder for backups. Later it will make backup automatic. If You don't let do backup-folder, then no backups and next time it'll ask again ... and so on.
The backup-folder's name and place are fixed!

Dear Sir,

I did the same but its not asking for anything I don't know why its not working.

a) Have You checked that there is already backup-folder?
b) Are Macros enabled?
c) Test next file

You saved it somewhere?
Open that folder
Is there folder named 'backup'?
Open one of 'my files'.
Close it.
Check file's folder again.
If still missing, I gotta do something step-by-step for You.
What happens then You open any of 'my file'?
I need answers!

Dear Sir,
It worked something in excel 2013 but it didnt worked for excel 2007.
Now When I save my file it creates backup in back up folder but when I changed anything into that it doesnt update automatically.
Infact the way I want is that file saved in network if anyone apart from me change anything it should change in the file but backup should take for whatever changes I have made.

It works ...
but do You really want to make a backup after every single change of Your file?
That's possible too - it would make You file slower - I can change it, do I?.
You can save that file anywhere where user have rights to make folder (one time) and user have rights to make new files to that folder. Every backup have own name! So there will be a lot of files ...
Ideas ... what to do?
