Excel 2016 need to make dropdown box larger so all data can be seen

In cells AD385 and ab448 of the attached worksheet, you cannot read all of the data in the drop down box. is there a way to make it larger when clicked and then it goes back to it's normal size? you'll see I tried to write some code to do that but it keeps the cell at the enlarged size instead of returning it to it's normal size.

Some ideas ...
Somewhere I found that there is limit of 256 characters per item.
I checked with older version of Excel than Yours.
Those drop boxes has items like 'formulas', not results of formulas.
Could You 'just' make shorter items?
Even if You zoom sheet, drop boxes would keep in same size.
