Hello,
I am having an excel file which records daily progress of test cases execution row-wise. The report is divided into 2 sections. 1st section gives the details of todays counts and the next section gives the historical dates status. This all is done manually.
I wanted to write a macro that whenever i open the excel the macro should run automatically without asking. The function of macro should be that, first it should verify the current date and the date of the first section. If the current date is greate than it should copy the first section row and paste it to the last available row of the second section.
After pasting the row in the second section it should run a formula in the first section which will pick up the relevant data from the another excel sheet and update it. Thus, in this manner my historical data gets updated via macro in the second section and after the second section gets updated excel runs formula to update the first section by fetching data from the other excel sheet.
