Enable Alt + F11

My ALT + F11 is not working how do I turn it back on? P.S. It was working yesterday and I have already tried rebooting
 
Hi CheryIS,

Are your Alt & function keys working seperately? Try Pressing F11 key only and see if it create a chart sheet or not? Also try Alt key to activate menu.

Yes they are working, I even opened up an new excell and the ALT +F11 works, however on these previous saved excel documents it is not working
 
Are the workbook in which it is not working, can you excess VBE through menu? Just check if there is some workbook open event to disable key action?

I am trying to add into the footer of many excel documents a Last Saved date. Some files it works on and others it doesn't.
 
For the information of further people having the same issue, I think the only reason that can cause it is that another program interferes with the shortcut.

In my case, it was nVidia ShadowPlay. I had to close all nVidia running processes and it worked again.
